When other folding machines reach their limits, this one really starts to shine.

In collaboration with Jörg Sprave, who provided the concept and initial design, and Midgard’s Messer, who handled the technical implementation, a folding axe was created that sets new standards. At its heart is a completely newly developed Ultra-Backlock, which is one of the most stable locking systems ever installed in a folding axe.

Thanks to its ingenious design, the axe can be swung open with one hand and closed just as easily. Its quick and practical one-handed operation, as well as the ability to swing it open with one hand, makes it the perfect companion for outdoor activities, bushcraft, camping, and heavy-duty work.

For maximum safety, the axe also features two screw-in bolts that mechanically secure the lock. What makes it special: The new Backlock is designed to be so sturdy and durable that the axe can be used without any problems for chopping, throwing, and heavy-duty work—even without the bolts in place. The screw-in bolts serve as an additional safety measure and provide an even greater sense of security.

When closed, the axe takes the shape of a “V”—a tribute to the Vikings. A unique design that perfectly combines functionality with a Nordic aesthetic.

The folding axe comes standard with high-quality G10 handle scales, which provide excellent grip and high durability. If you want to make your axe even more exclusive, you can purchase and install optional titanium handle scales.

The package also includes a handy carrying case in which the folding axe can be safely stored. Two spare screw-in pins are also included.

Another major advantage: Since it is classified as a tool, the folding axe may be transported in a vehicle and carried even in areas where weapons are prohibited, provided that the applicable legal requirements are met.
