The Midgard Bömbur Fixed knife is presented here as an exclusive Splash Edition, available only in a strictly limited quantity. Each knife has been hand-finished in our workshop, making it truly one-of-a-kind.

The blade gets its distinctive look from an intricately crafted splash etching, which gives each knife a unique texture. To complement this, the Kydex sheath has been laser-engraved with a splash pattern, creating a perfect visual harmony with the blade.

The Kydex sheath has an ochre-colored grain. This coloration is a result of the material itself and makes each sheath unique. Since the grain is inherent to the material, you cannot choose the color.

Note: Due to the handcrafted splash etching and the natural grain of the Kydex material, no two knives are exactly alike. Each Bömbur Fixed Splash Edition is therefore a unique, one-of-a-kind piece.

Optional titanium grip shells

When other folding machines reach their limits, this one really starts to shine.

In collaboration with Jörg Sprave, who provided the concept and initial design, and Midgard’s Messer, who handled the technical implementation, a folding axe was created that sets new standards. At its heart is a completely newly developed Ultra-Backlock, which is one of the most stable locking systems ever installed in a folding axe.

Thanks to its ingenious design, the axe can be swung open with one hand and closed just as easily. Its quick and practical one-handed operation, as well as the ability to swing it open with one hand, makes it the perfect companion for outdoor activities, bushcraft, camping, and heavy-duty work.

For maximum safety, the axe also features two screw-in bolts that mechanically secure the lock. What makes it special: The new Backlock is designed to be so sturdy and durable that the axe can be used without any problems for chopping, throwing, and heavy-duty work—even without the bolts in place. The screw-in bolts serve as an additional safety measure and provide an even greater sense of security.

When closed, the axe takes the shape of a “V”—a tribute to the Vikings. A unique design that perfectly combines functionality with a Nordic aesthetic.

The folding axe comes standard with high-quality G10 handle scales, which provide excellent grip and high durability. If you want to make your axe even more exclusive, you can purchase and install optional titanium handle scales.

Nidhogg – Titan Damascus Slipjoint

Compact, rugged, and uncompromising. The Nidhogg combines modern materials with traditional Damascus forging. The 3D-printed titanium handle ensures an exceptionally lightweight, sturdy, and grippy design, while the Damascus blade with a VG10 core steel offers excellent edge retention, corrosion resistance, and suitability for everyday use.

What makes the Nidhogg special is its pressure slipjoint mechanism. Unlike a conventional slipjoint, this knife features an additional pressure surface on the spine. If you apply pressure to this surface with your thumb while working, the blade is significantly stabilized and is much less likely to fold closed unintentionally. This creates a much safer working experience without losing the classic slipjoint feel.

Carmilla – Knife, designed by Lia Hofmeister

Inspired by “Carmilla,” Sheridan Le Fanu’s groundbreaking Gothic vampire novella, first published in 1872, this collector’s knife pays homage to one of the most influential figures in vampire literature.

The blade, crafted from genuine Damascus steel, features intricate, deep laser engravings inspired by Victorian lace embroidery and Gothic ornamentation. Decorative gemstones are set directly into the Damascus blade and the removable ring at the end of the handle, lending the knife a luxurious touch that reflects the elegance and sophistication associated with Carmilla herself. Combined with the hand-engraved handle scales, these details make this collector’s item appear just as refined as the character that inspired it.

The blade is single-edged and combines practical everyday usability with the elegant profile of a traditional Gothic dagger.

A removable ring forms the end of the handle and can be unscrewed and worn separately as a piece of jewelry, creating a symbolic connection between the blade and the wearer.

Every Carmilla knife comes with a custom-made display stand. It is designed to combine seamlessly with the Dracula stand; together, the two pieces form a complete moon motif—a tribute to the eternal night shared by literature’s most iconic vampires.

Forged from genuine Damascus steel, “Dracula” combines elegant craftsmanship with an imposing silhouette inspired by Gothic architecture, medieval weapons, and the timeless symbolism surrounding the Prince of Darkness. The hand-engraved guard scales ensure exceptional attention to detail and character, creating a design equally suited to the collection of a nobleman as to the private armory of a vampire prince.
